Mansfield Chambers' Immigration Law Record

Mansfield Immigration Group has a reputation for excellence in advocacy. We have a wealth of expertise in all areas of immigration, including administrative and public law with proven experience at every level from the First-Tier Tribunal (IAC) to the European Court of Human Rights. Some of our members are ranked and recommended in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners or sit as part-time judges.

We are fearless and innovative and we persevere on behalf of our clients. We have an excellent success rate and are well known for adopting a creative approach to the law. We are a close-knit team and relatively small and we therefore find it easy to share ideas and experience to the benefit of individual clients.

Our team draws strength from our diversity. We have expertise in cases that cross immigration, family and criminal law. Some of our members continue to practise in crime and family. We are also strongly diverse in our profiles and backgrounds. Many of us have worked for law centres or as immigration solicitors before being called to the Bar and many of us are second-generation immigrants. We fully recognise and appreciate the challenges faced by both our professional and lay clients in this complex and demanding area of law and are very well versed in the realities of immigration practice.

We are very proud to associate our practice and values with those of our head of Chambers Michael Mansfield QC. We are tenacious in our commitment to social justice and in particular to ensuring that immigrants’ rights are protected. This is shown by our involvement in a many leading cases such as the Legacy Exercise, children and immigration, the Points-Based System, the Dublin Regulation and fresh asylum and human rights claims.
